HomeUA is a phygital NFT project created to fund a real settlement of modular homes in a safe region of Ukraine for people who lost their homes in the war. Holders get access to a DAO: through internal voting the community influences the design style of the future homes, and every 100 NFTs unlock a new modular house.

The token system starts from 100 cube houses in an isometric view, each with its own colour and symbolism. Every house is split into three parts and recombined in random order, which gives 10,000 one-of-a-kind houses. The ornaments come from the Trypillia culture, one of the oldest layers of Ukrainian history.

Each repurchase of a token adds a floor to the house, so holders can grow high-rise virtual cities. Every virtual city is named after a real Ukrainian city, and a set of backgrounds uses traditional ornaments linked to specific cities and regions, each with its own gradient.

The first 1,000 NFTs dropped on the Babylons marketplace on 24 August 2022, Ukraine’s Independence Day. The project was made by Bombart studio, NAOS Studio and SunCrypters, with LeoStates as the developer partner.
